Wavetable Drone Synthesizer

DRONES MAX is a WAVE TABLE SYNTHERSIZER for sustained sounds. It has three WAVE TABLE OSCs and two POLE FILTERs, which can be modulated by two LFOs. Powerful effects include stereo delay, reverb, and crusher with a wide range of parameters, allowing for a variety of expression from aggressive and intense sounds to beautiful cosmic harmonics.

WAVETABLE

It contains over 200 waveforms, which can be varied smoothly. Also included at the end of the knobs are sawtooth waveforms, sine waveforms, and a noise generator that varies with frequency, in that order. WAVETABLE contains a mixture of waveforms with different overtones, and when combined with an LFO, it can impart the effect of a gradually changing scale.

OSC MIX

The ratio of the volume of the three oscillators can be set.

NOISE

Adds noise to the oscillator output.

FILTER

The DRONES is equipped with a 2-pole low-pass filter with resonance. Turning the CUTOFF knob to the left attenuates the sound sequentially from the higher notes, and when turned fully, no sound is produced. Turning the RES knob to the right causes a peak at the pitch of the cutoff point.

LFO

DRONES has a built-in LFO that can output a sine, sawtooth, square, or random waveform that is sample and hold. the LFO knob sets the frequency and waveform of the LFO. Turning the knob clockwise speeds up the frequency, and when the highest frequency is reached, the waveform switches to the next waveform.

STEREO DELAY / REVERB

Stereo delay and reverb for drone sounds. Feedback can be set without attenuation to add more depth to the sound.

CRUSHER

By reducing the resolution of the sound, rough expression is also possible.
