Chaotic Modular Synthesizer

CHAOS is a chaotic modular synthesizer. The simple 2OSC + FILTER configuration with a chaos generator creates complex and unpredictable sounds. The chaos generator creates a chaotic signal by using one oscillator as a clock and the other as an input signal. This signal can be fed back to the oscillator or adapted to a filter to synthesize strange sounds that seem random and regular.

Controls

OSC1/OSC2 (PITCH)
Sets the pitch of each oscillator.

CHAOS
Sets the strength of the chaos generator signal applied to the filter or oscillator.

CUTOFF
Sets the cutoff frequency (strength) of the filter.

RESONANCE
Sets the filter peak strength.

FILTER FM
Modulates CUTOFF with the OSC1 signal

Patching

CHAOS can be patched to create more complex and versatile phrases.

Chaos Generator
The chaos generator utilizes a shift register. One oscillator is used as a clock and the other oscillator as an input signal to create a chaotic signal.
