Today, I would like to introduce a setting of an electric guitar through modularsynthesizer ... It is a setting that does not use any effect pedal or guitar amplifier at all ~
I first came across this setting in 2011. My friend Dan Snazelle of Snazzy FX, demonstrated how an electric guitar could be connected to Eurorack modules to create number of crazy sounds, using his effect pedal "Mini Ark”(designed by him). I was looking for a new inspiration for playing guitar, and it was good timing, so I definitely wanted to use the Eurorack module. But to do that, you need to learn a little about the Eurorack modular synthesizer.
I remember when I was 14, I bought Guyatone distortion and Roland solid state amp for the first time. After that, I started buying various types of effect pedals, assembling pedal boards, and using Fender and Marshall tube amps. All of these are very fun process! Playing a guitar through Eurorack modular synthesizer system, however, is a bit different from pedals or amplifier. It's somewhat intimidating to see a lot of patch cables and modules you've never seen before for the first time. But once you get used to modular synthesizer, it actually is a lot easier than assemble a giant pedal board. It can also be used in parallel with your favorite effect pedal!
In these video series, I would like to introduce some simple settings for guitar players who have never used modular synthesizer so that they can be easily understood ...
Keep On Electrifying!!!
