Hello everyone!
I wish you a happy and energetic beginning of 2020!!!
We have another improvised jam today using an electric guitar & modularsynthesizer…
I’ve just received Rossum Electro-Music “Panharmonium - Spectral Processor and Tone Generator” recently…
and very excited to explore this amazing module.
I have been wanted to plug electric guitar into this module and come up with untraditional guitar sound.
This module is great for many other things and functions but today we are just focusing on creating simple synth guitar sound here.
As I mentioned before with other videos, my intension is to do a electric guitar thru modular synthesizer format. Not using any effect pedals/guitar amps/guitar cabinets. I am not necessary trying to do a traditional electric guitar thing here but approaching electric guitar from different angle. Some of it is actually challenging to get a good vintage guitar sound without using vintage gear. If someone ask me, “what kind of amps and pedals are you using?” that will be awesome…
In this video, you will hear,
1.sort of regular lightly overdriven guitar sound,
2.synthesizer like guitar sound
3.mix of both sounds
Guitar is going thru(in order):
Befaco - Instrument interface (to plug guitar in)
Snazzy FX - High Gain (to make guitar little dirty)
Rossum Electro - Panharmonium (for Synthesizer Guitar sound/balancing driven & synths guitar sound)
moddict - EQ4 (EQing guitar sound)
Mordax - DATA (as tuner)
WMD - AXYS (A/B ing between Guitar and Loquelic Iteritas)
Make Noise - Morphagene (leveling)
Make Noise - Mimeophon (Stereo Delay)
Erica Synths - Drum Stereo Mixer (Stereo Mixer)
2hp - VCA (amplifying)
2hp - Verb (reverb)
WMD - Pro Output (output of whole thing)
Off course, all the background music is by rest of the modules you see here~
Everything is live(no fixing/over dubbing)!
I hope you enjoy!!!
